This is hardly a surprise! Aamir over the years has also managed to surprise the audience with his every silver screen outing. Be it playing the role of a college student or a wrestler the actor is truly a master of guises. Aamir who is known for his boyish charm underwent a complete transformation when he built his eight-pack abs for Ghajini.
If you thought putting on muscle mass was the difficult part, Aamir proved everyone wrong with his next look. He lost all of his muscle mass and the eight-pack-abs to play the role of a college-going student. In his next movie, Aamir effortlessly channelled his inner schoolboy and did not look a day over 20 when he was actually in his late 40’s.
And, if this was not it, Aamir one-upped himself with the look of his upcoming Dangal. For this biopic on real-life sportsman Mahavir Singh Phogat, Aamir will be seen essaying two phases of Mahavir’s life and his look in each phase is so stark, that it will leave all of us shocked! According to sources, Aamir put on 30 kg and at a point was not able to bend to tie his shoelaces.
Farhan is another perfectionist of the industry. He has proved his versatility time-and-time-again, be it as an actor, director, writer or singer. However, it was Farhan’s portrayal as the ‘Flying Sikh’, Milkha Singh that earned him the most accolades for his performance. Farhan impressed one and all with his dedication for the role, and if sources are to be believed, he even completed a 100-metre race in a record time of 11.9 seconds, phew!
Bhumi Pednekar's photographs, especially those which were taken during the filming of her debut movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha, have managed to shock all. As evident the actress looked nothing like she did on screen in her just-released debut film. To play Sandhya, her character, Bhumi ate pizza for breakfast and gorged on a rich Mughlai menu and mithai, managing to border on 90 kg. Well, anything for the role!
For his portrayal of Sarbjit, actor Randeep Hooda lost 18 kg in a span of 28 days! The actor was quoted in an interview saying, “I was a muscular 94 kg at the time and while it's easy to burn fat, it's hard to lose muscle. The decision came as a shock and led to a period of physical and mental torture.” This was the second of Hooda's physical transformations last year; earlier, he'd put on 17 kg for Deepak Tijori's Do Lafzon Ki Kahani. Woah!!!
Priyanka is undoubtedly one of the most glamorous and hard-working actresses of Bollywood. But for her role as MC Mary Kom, PeeCee underwent a complete body overhaul (with a wee bit help of prosthetics and CGI.) Priyanka underwent months of rigorous training and sculpted her body to perfection.
