To mark Teachers' Day we spoke to some popular actors from tellywood about the special person who influenced their life!
The person who changed the coarse of my life is Harsh Vijh. He was my teacher when I was preparing for MBA. He became my mentor and it's because of the time spent with him, that I could understand the purpose of my life. Then it's my mother who is my life coach. Every day she shares with me valuable lessons of life which keeps me grounded and motivated. She is the most positive person one can interact with.
The greatest teacher for me in life is my mother. Everything that I know I have learnt from her. From small small things to the biggest decisions everything is influenced by her. I remember a small incident, when I was quite young, me and my mother used to go to the Gurudwara every evening by the same route ,once I noticed that a boy would stand on our route everyday and stare at me in a very creepy way so being very young I got scared and told my mother let's take another route because I am scared of the boy. Then my mom told me that I'll face similar situations many times in life and how many routes will I keep changing in life, I need to face the odds, teach the boy a lesson and continue on the same route. There are many incidents during which the way she advised me was the best advice of her life and everything that I have learnt from her always stayed with me and all whenever I have to make any decisions I always think what my mother would have done in this situation. She is a woman of substance. For me she is also the biggest example of persistence because no matter how difficult the situations were, she never gave up neither on her children nor her husband. Facing all the odds she always provided the best of everything. She taught me to be strong and bold in life, to always respect the elders and value love and relationships the most. Her priceless advice is the reason why and whatever I am in life.
It has to be my father...someone who's taught me always to help others even if it means inconvenience for yourself. He along with my mother taught me to respect nature and the art of perseverance. Parents are the first teachers one comes across in life and they influence our life and personality.
I can't name one but yes life itself is a biggest teacher and teaches you everything with time. But yes I would like to say that the people around me maybe it's my parents, relatives , school and college teachers and even a stranger contributed to learn my basics of life and make me the kind of person I am today.
In anyone's life the first person who teaches the child everything is mother. A mother teaches her child to eat, walk, speak and survive in this world. My mother has been the first teacher who not only brought me up with good values but also taught me how to survive with the ups and downs in my life. It's because of her I am so independent and learnt the true meaning of hard work and that is what helps me going.
