Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who recently wrapped up the shooting of Madhur Bhandarkar’s 'Indu Sarkar', has teamed up with director Rohit Shetty for his upcoming comedy entertainer 'Golmaal Again'. The actor received a musical welcome from the film’s leading lady, Parineeti Chopra, who was seen singing ‘Golmaal’ song with Neil.
Neil Nitin Mukesh took to his Instagram handle and shared pictures with Parineeti and Rohit from the set. He also wrote: “With the man himself @itsrohitshetty Genius to work with and such an honor being a part is of his creation. #golmaalagain.”
A source close to the team says, “While Neil has done negative roles earlier as well in films like Wazir and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, his role in Golmaal Again will be unique. He plays the villain who also has a funny-cum-sarcastic side. Neil has been working on getting his look and the nuances of his character right. And Rohit has been helping him throughout."
'Golmaal Again' also features Tabu, Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu in key roles. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali. It will also clash with Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.O’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Secret Superstar’.
On the other front, Neil Nitin Mukesh is gearing up for the release of ‘Indu Sarkar’, which set to be released on July 21. The film is about a stammering poetess who gains confidence and rebels against system during 21 months emergency imposed in 1975 by Indira Gandhi's Government.
