Diwali isn't just the festival of lights. It is also about feasting on good food and meeting friends and family. On this festive occasion, we met to gorgeous Sana Khan to know about her most cherished Diwali memories and more…
What has the festival of Diwali meant to you?
I have loved Diwali since my childhood days. I use to celebrate it with all my friends. It’s very nice to have a blend and the mix of culture and friends who come from different culture to celebrate it. Especially getting reading, eating food and troubling everybody in the society! These were the most favourite and memorable part of my childhood. I still enjoy but off course I have became calmer and quieter. I just go out with my friends and family. For me it’s important to spend time with family and friends.
Any particular food you love to gorge on during Diwali?
There is no Diwali or Eid special for me. I just love food. I am a hardcore non vegetarian I really like to eat heavy meat. I am totally a meat person.
What about the variety of sweets you get to eat on Diwali?
I don’t like sweets. I think people should gift dry fruits on Diwali because sweets have an expiry date. Also, if you are gifting something gift good health.
Has Wajah Tum Ho made this Diwali special for you ?
It’s maddening! It’s amazing that we got 10 million views on the trailer so fast. That’s a record! I am overwhelmed with the response.
