Movie Review

ADHM Review: This Film is One Of Karan’s Most Beautiful Films Untill Now

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is about Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor), Alizeh (Anushka Sharma), Saba (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and Ali (Fawad Khan). Ayan is super rich guy who is an aspiring singer, the fun loving Alizeh loves Ali, and the happily divorced Saba is looking for love.

Ayan and Alizeh become friends at a bar. These two bollywood loving friends fit into each other’s lives like a jigsaw puzzle. Ayan falls in love with his soulmate, Alizeh, but she doesn’t reciprocate the feeling. Alizeh on the other hand is still reeling from her break-up with Ali and happily goes back to him at the first chance of reconciliation leaving Ayan distraught. Ayan then finds solace in a in a relationship with Saba who helps him get a new perspective on one-sided love.  After which he realizes Alizeh’s value in his life, irrespective of their relationship status.

Karan Johar has for a change made a very matured film which is shot at the exotic locales of Europe. The chemistry between Anushka and Ranbir looks so real. There is genuine laughter and sadness, which comes from real consequences of heartbreak that Johar has always kept after from his films.  Anushka Sharma is the most remarkable of all the actors in the film, she is a woman who know what she exactly wants from her realtionships. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is stunning, sexy, she plays the role of seductress with utmost confidence, and we definitely loved to see her more on screen.  Fawad Khan and SRK have very little screenspace to talks about their acting. Ranbir's portrayal of the one-sided lover is heartbreaking. Ae Dill Hai Mushkil is about Ranbir and Anushka who have done complete justice to the film. Unlike other films of Karan, ADHM shows us how difficult love is and how cold everything is. Go watch it for a mirror reflection of today’s relationships.
