Star Cast:

Amy Jackson, Arbaaz Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Freaky Ali is the story of Ali played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is a street loafer. He does odd jobs, mostly goon work, for a boss. But, that’s not all to Ali. He can hit sixers with every cricket bat shot and can land the golf ball in a score hole every time he hits one! The supporting c cast in this Sohail Khan film is great. Keeps up the energy of the film.

Movie Review

Audience vs Critic
The audience has given a lukewarm nod to Freaky Ali and so have critics. The story did not resonate well with the audience and neither did the treatment on the film.

Story & Plot
The story has been picked from Hollywood’s film Happy Gilmore starring Adam Sandler. The writing of the film has it usual punch lines where you’d expect them. The only thing unexpected about Freaky Ali was its main casting. To see Nawaz in such a lead role is refreshing, keeping in mind it’s a Sohail Khan production!

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the silver lining of Freaky Ali. When the story bores you, you can rely on Nawaz to keep you entertained. The supporting cast – Arbaaz Khan, Seema Biswas and other are all pivotal to keep the film’s pace and story going. Amy Jackson didn’t have a significant role. But, she did her part well.

Freaky Ali’s music has not been a big hit. But, the music is quite catchy and is weaved well into the film.
